Lenten Rehearsal - Wednesdays only at 8:15 PM

 

We sing during the 11 AM worship services from September to May.

 

We welcome all those who wish to add their voices to ours in praise to God.  No auditions are necessary!

 

Messiah Lutheran Church Choir welcomed our new Pastor, Paul Stolz, into the choir.  We feel very fortunate to have him sing with us every Sunday at the ll am Worship Service. 

 

Choir rehearsals are held on Thursday eves at 7:45 pm in the meeting room.  We add occasional "social hours" before rehearsals throughout the year, giving members time to converse and encouraging new participants to join us.

 

The "40-day Choir" gives those who like to sing a chance to participate without a permanent commitment to the choir.  the 40-day Choir sings during Lent.  This is a wonderful type of Lenten devotion on Wednesday evenings during the Lenten Season.

 

Sue Fox is in her 16th year with the choir as accompanist, as well as singing.  We are very fortunate and appreciative of her talents and dedication.  Audrey Krell, our music librarian, keeps every anthem in it's place as she has done for almost as long as Tom has been our Director of Music.  We owe Audrey many thanks for her perseverence and dedication.

 

Tom Daniels is in his 41st year as choir and music director and appreciates each and every member of Messiah's choir with their faithfulness in attendence for rehearsals and worship services each Sunday, as well as Lenten, Easter, Thanksgiving, Advent and Christmas services and being at hand for funeral services, etc. when needed.
